This month’s drawing prompt is trees.
Take your sketchbook with you and draw the trees in your neighborhood, at the beach, on a picnic, while traveling…
There’s only one rule: you must draw from life, on location.
Tip: Limit your materials and your color palette. Too many choices can be overwhelming.
Below are a few drawings I made at Will Rogers State Historic Park.


And sketches of fruit trees in my neighborhood: orange, lemon, white mulberry, and fig.
